the area does get about 4 hours of full sunlight and i know that the roses wont die if they dont have full sunlight all day long but i also want them to grow and not stay little.
I have gotten roses several times from my husband, but I always seem to kill them within the first few days. I have cut the ends under water and pulled off the excess leaves, but they still seem to die. Any other suggestions?

I have yellow and white roses and the new blooms have brown edges. The leaves are fine, its just the petals. I haven’t noticed any bugs around. Could it be fungal? If so how do you treat it?

We moved a rose bush from our old house to our new house about eight years ago, and no roses have bloomed since. We relocated it in our yard recently, and hoped it would help. For a while it looked like it was going to die, but we think it’s making a recovery now. Is there anything I can do to get the roses to bloom this year?
Most people grow roses from clipings, and this seems to work well, but I have had NO luck with it, but what about from seed? The hip of a rose has seeds, will these grow fast at all, or even grow? And how well? Is there a difference?? How do I go about planting them, a green house for starters, right?….Okay, so as you see I know nothing about growing roses from seed, I need help!!

I have mini roses in a pot that have not had blossoms since the summer. I thought they may be root bound so I re-potted them into something bigger. The leaves looked healthier for a little while but now it’s looking sick again and still no blossoms. Any ideas?

I received roses for valentines day. I am wondering if there are any tips to follow for making them last longer than 2 days. Everytime I receive flowers, they never last more than 2-3 days no matter the type of flower. I change the water, I trim the stems, I place them in sunlight, I mix the food in the water, and they still die so soon. what can I do? Thanks.
