I am the maid of honor in a wedding this weekend, and I will be fixing my own hair. I want to wear in a low bun like style with a flower in my hair. So I use a real flower or an artifical? The dress is a clover green and my flowers that I will be carrying will be peach. Any suggestions on what to do with my hair would be great. Thanks!

Yes! I was just a made of honor myself and the entire wedding party wore flowers in their hair from http://www.tomydearest.webs.com. Great prices and quick shipping. Hurry though since you only have a few days! Good Luck!!

It kinda depends on the flowers you will be carrying. But orchids are good flowers to use in your hair. Google Images shows a lot of different types used. Hope this link works, if not just search flowers in hair or something similar.

that style sounds like it would be pretty with a big flower…like the size of a daisy. what about using the same flower that will be in your bouquet? don’t use baby’s breath…it’s outdated and cheesey! don’t go for too delicate of a flower because it will wilt too fast. stephanotis is a pretty, white flower that is pretty sturdy and will last the whole day but they are smaller sized…still pretty, just smaller. you could also ask a florist what flowers work good and will last all day.

pointsettia’s are too big and orchids tend to be too delicate to hold up all day without wilting
